Sigaro Toscano

Aurelio Regina, President of Manifatture Sigaro Toscano Spa, tells us what’s behind the success of Toscano Cigar, one of the most popular “made in Italy” handmade products.

Born in 1815 in the workshop in Florence, the cigar was  produced by Monopolio di Stato until 2004, when British American Tobacco Italia bought all the production, selling and distribution rights of smoking products.

Starting from July 2006 the company has become Italian again, thanks to Gruppo Industriale Maccaferri, driven by the eponymous and historical Bolognese family.
