69th Venice Film Festival – To The Wonder by Terrence Malick
Acclaimed directors should always amaze. Such as Terrence Malick, who lives up to his name and divides and catches critics and public off guards with his “To The Wonder” presented out of competition during the fifth day at the Festival. As usual few dialogues and many very evocative images for a story revolving around the characters of Ben Affleck (Neil) and the ex-bond girl Olga Kurylenko (Marina). Also in the cast Javier Bardem and Rachel McAdams. Predictably the most notably absent at the press conference, the American director passed the baton to producer Sarah Green, to Olga Kurylenko and to the Italian Romina Mondello.
