Birdman by Alejandro Iñárritu – Michael Keaton, Edward Norton and Emma Stone speak about the film
Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) is the opening film of the 71st edition of the Venice Film Festival. Alejandro González Iñárritu directed a drama-comedy with a sophisticated stylistic and narrative register. The film is in fact a long sequence shot and tells the story of a struggling actor, famous for portraying an iconic superhero. Leading actor is Micheal Keaton who, ironically (or not!) was the iconic Tim Burton’s Batman. The film also stars Edward Norton as his opponent, Emma Stone and Naomi Watts. Here are the highlights of the press conference.
