Hitchcock – Interview with director Sacha Gervasi
The unquestioned master of suspense Alfred Hitchcock is described on the big screen in the highly awaited film by Sacha Gervasi “Hitchcock”. The film, which premiered at the Courmayeur Noir Festival, is based on the book “Alfred Hitchcock and The Making of Psycho” by Stephen Rebello and tells the genesis of one of his masterpieces, “Psycho”, and how the relationship with his wife and collaborator Alma Reville was put in a seriously crisis by the film project. What emerges is a portrait of a 60-year-old Hitchcock – masterfully played by an unrecognizable Anthony Hopkins – ironic but also slightly childish, jealous and capricious. Along Anthony Hopkins in a fat suit, in the film star many Oscar-winning actors, such as Helen Mirren, Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Biel. At our microphones, the director Sacha Gervasi presents the film.
