Killer Joe – William Friedkin in Venice

A highly awaited comeback, that of 76 year-old William Friedkin. The director of masterpieces as “The Exorcist” and “To Live and Die in L.A.” presented in Venice the warmly welcomed “Killer Joe”, very violent thriller filled with black humour.


The nice director of “Chicago” stood out as a protagonist in Venice, together with Emile Hirsch, the hero of “Into the Wild“,and comedian Tracy Letts, who wrote the play from which the movie has been taken.
