Michael Fassbender in Venice – The Carl Jung of A Dangerous Method
The most sought after celebrity of Venice Film Festival is no doubt Michael Fassbender.
The actor of German-Irish origins conquered the Lido with both his interpretations for his two films competing at the festival: “A Dangerous Method” directed by David Cronenberg and “Shame” by Steve McQueen. Fassbender played the famous psychiatrist Carl Gustav Jung in Cronenberg’s masterpiece and a sex-addicted manager in Steve McQueen’s wonderful second work.
Reached by our microphones, Fassbender tells us how the preparation for the complex character he played in Cronenberg’s movie and discloses the reason why he loves so much being an actor.
