“No” – Chilean Cinema opens MIFF 2013

It was the acclaimed “No” directed by Chilean Pablo Larraín to open the 2013 edition of the Milan International Film Festival (MIFF). The film, set in Chile in 1988, describes the days that led to the end of Pinochet’s regime, thanks to a TV campaign by a young and nonconformist advertising executive. We spoke with MIFF’s director Andrea Galante and Eugenio Garcia, the Chilean advertising executive portrayed in the film by the amazing Gael Garcia Bernal.
