Shame – McQueen in Venice

After “Hunger”(2008), awarded best movie debut at Cannes in 2008, emerging English director Steve McQueen has recreated once again a duo with Michael Fassbender for “Shame”, the intense and scandalous film successfully presented at 68th Venice Film Festival.

In the movie, set in New York, Fassbender is a thirty-something who suffers from a severe sex addiction, and whose life is turned upside-down by the arrival of his sister Sissy (Carey Mulligan).

Our report presents the key moments of McQueen‘s intervention at the press conference held in Venice.
