The 70th Venice Film Festival – Night Moves by Kelly Reichardt
Three radical environmentalists from Oregon come together to make the biggest protest of their lives: the explosion of a hydroelectric dam, symbol of that cultural industry that devours energy and resources. That’s the story of “Night Moves” by American director Kelly Reichardt presented in competition today at the 70th Venice Film Festival. The protagonists of the film – that the director described as “a thriller on the ambiguity of the human being” – are three young and talented actors: Peter Sarsgaard, Jesse Eisenberg (known for portraying Mark Zuckerberg in “The Social Network” in 2010) and Dakota Fanning. We will show you some images of the film and the highlights of the press conferences with Kelly Reichardt and actors Jesse Eisenberg and Dakota Fanning.
