The 70th Venice Film Festival – Philomena by Stephen Frears and the arrival of James Franco
We laugh, we cry and we are outraged by the films presented in competition in the fourth day of the Venice Film Festival. Dame Judi Dench won the longest applause with her masterful interpretation in “Philomena” by Stephen Frears. Today was also the day of James Franco’s “Child of God” where he directs a talented Scott Haze. Also Dakota Fanning and Jesse Eisenberg in competition with “Night Moves“.
