The 70th Venice Film Festival – The Zero Theorem by Terry Gilliam
The sixth day of the 70th Venice Film Festival was characterized by the presence of Terry Gilliam, undisputed master of cinema. Director of masterpieces such as “Monty Python’s The Meaning of Life”, “Brazil”, “The Fisher King”, “12 Monkeys”, “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas”, Gilliam brought his futuristic “The Zero Theorem” to the Lido starring Christoph Waltz in the lead role. Eccentric, flamboyant and provocative, Gilliam said about “The Zero Theorem” that “It’s really about the world we’re living in and being connected”.
