Black Gold – Rahim and Banderas in Arabia with Jean-Jacques Annaud
Sultans and fights for oil in the Arabia of the twenty-firs century, with Antonio Banderas playing the role of the sultan Nesib, Mark Strong, playing Amar and Tahar Rahim in that of the young prince Auda who, from shy little bookworm to charismatic leader. Freida Pinto is, instead, charming princess Leyla.
“Black Gold” based on Hans Reusch’s novel “Top of the World” – is Jean-Jacques Annaud, the praised French director of “Seven years in Tibet” and “The Name of the Rose”. In the occasion of the Italian release of the movie, our microphones reached Annaud and Rahim.
