Milan’s Teatro Nuovo hosts, until February 5th, the company of the famous US coreographer and the new show “The Best of Parsons Dance”, first appointment of their 2012 tour. Renown all over the world as an icon of post-modern dance, Parsons takes to the stage some of the most famous performances of their repertoire, from “Hand Dance” to “Swing Shift”, “Caught” and “Nascimento”, performed by eight young dancers. Energy, technique but, above all, a great artistic spirit and passion, are the ingredoents of this show which is definitely one of a kind. Our microphones reached David Parsons, who spoke about the show and about how the artistic concept of the company evolved over the years. We also met young dancer from Abruzzo region Elena d’Amario, famous to the wider public for taking part to Maria De Filippi’s TV “Amici”.
