Disco Volante – At the Geneva Motor Show the auto inspired by a 1952 myth

At the Geneva Motor Show 2013, one year after the presentation of the concept, Touring Superleggera launched the final version of the Disco Volante. A style icon, a two-seater coupe, it was completely handcrafted (no less than 4000 hours of work) and produced in super limited edition for a select clientele, consisting of collectors, sportspersons and discerning followers of tailor-made cars. The original car is the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione, with an engine derived from Ferrari-Maserati modified to 450 hp, which enables high performance, a maximum speed of 292 km/h and an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds.
