EICMA 2012: Brammo – Empulse R, the world’s fastest electric motorbike
The American company from Ashland arrives in Milan as a leader in electric motorbikes having excelled with its Empulse RR in the TTXGP final Grand Prix 2012 in Daytona. There are three additions to the 2013 range. Starting with Empulse R, the road version of Empulse RR, the first electric motorbike in the world to mount a 6-speed transmission and an electric water-cooled motor; an innovative technology resulting in a small motorbike able to reach a speed more than 160km/h. Then there is the Enertia Plus, which is inspired by the award winning Brammo Enertia and thanks to its new Power 44/70 battery has practically doubled its autonomy and reaches 128 km/h. And finally, Empulse RR, the racing version of the American bike who, with a top speed of 273 km/h, is the fastest electric motorcycle in the world.
