Piaggio at EICMA 2011 – The new Beverly scooter and the futuristic Vespa
Piaggio keeps the Italian flag flying at 69th International Motorcycle Exhibition with several models and futuristic ideas. Starting from the brand new Beverly SportTouring 350, featuring a combined braking system that ensures maximum safety both during braking and acceleration. X10, is, instead, the first scooter in the world to feature backlit handlebars controls, that can be seen in the dark.
Three the engine powers – 125, 350 and 500 – with the possibility of having electronically adjustable suspensions. Last but not least is Vespa 46, project (on the roads in 2012) that goes back to the tradition of the early model of nearly half a century ago, but looks to the future with the enrichment of technology and design.
