Stella Jean – Spring/Summer 2014 Fashion Show
Stella Jean is the young talent chosen by King Giorgio as a guest at the Teatro Armani. Her brilliant collection is a cultural mix that perfectly summarizes the origins of the fashion designer: from Haiti to Italy. Her style is very colorful, almost dazzling, ethnic prints on dresses from the 60s, with taste and contrast. Caribbean handkerchiefs on the head, long mermaid-like skirts with yellow stripes alongside red-checkered shirts, trench coats with printed abstract floral patterns, small palms pants, blazers with other fantasies, flowers in the head, Cuban shirts for men and puffball skirts. A counter-colonization fashion that enchanted everybody since 2011 when Stella won the “Who’s on Next” competition. We spoke with the fashion designer and former model.
