Tod’s – Spring/Summer 2014 Fashion Show
Classics from a timeless wardrobe return with new proportions, cuts, couture and craftmanship. “Always true to herself, she flirts with tradition but has no rules”. Tod’s woman in the Spring/Summer 2014 collection, designed by Alessandra Facchinetti, suspends time and schedules. At the first fashion show of the brand “Made in Italy”, the Pavilion of contemporary art in Milan became the creative director’s living room. Among belts that cut dresses with graphic or colorful effects, what stood out was the Signature texture, lightened by a fretwork becoming evanescent and summery, Selleria in Couture version, often out of range, and almost becoming a deconstructed object. The new Horse Basket has all the luxury of Tod’s.
