CERN – The biggest particle physics lab
CERN (European Organization for Nuclear research) was founded in 1954. Since then it has become a model of international collaboration, as well as the world’s biggest particle physics lab, where scientists study the fundamental components of the matter and the forces that keep them together.
It is situated on the borderline between Swiss and France, near the city of Geneva. Physician Massimo Masera will show us around this big lab and will tell us about the activities and the researches that are carried out inside it.
